More Room in the Closet

Michael starts a new job tomorrow. After almost eight years, he worked his last day at Midwest Tire & Auto on Thursday. He really enjoyed working there and says he will miss seeing all the people, but it's time to move on. He starts with Schwada Builders tomorrow morning. We are really looking forward to having him off by 3:30 everday and not working Saturdays, but Mommy is really not looking forward to the early mornings since I will have to get the kids ready and to daycare by myself now. I can't believe how spoiled I have gotten!

He and I are also very excited that with no uniforms, we have lots more room in our closet and no more tire grease and grit to clean from the sink and bathtub!

Preparing for Easter

Elliot and Drake came over on Sunday to color Easter Eggs. It was a first for all the boys as Somer was the only one who had done it before. I think the kids had a really good time and we all certainly enjoyed getting to do it outside in the warm weather!

Hudson Feeds Himself

Hudson took a turn at feeding himself cereal. He sure had fun, but I'm not sure how much he actually ate!

Hudson is Growing Too Fast!

Hudson is 9 months old today. Wow how the time flies! I took him and Somer to Mary's studio last night for some Easter/9 month pictures and of course Somer was uncooperative and Hudson was cranky. It never fails. Hudson is the happiest baby I have ever met and everytime we walk into Mary's studio he is immediately cranky and Somer refused to smile good. She just gives us this big cheesy grin with her eyes all squinted shut! We didn't get any really great pictures of both kids together or of Somer alone, but we did manage to get a few really good ones of Hudson! I especially like the ones of him with the old camera!

Destined for the ER!

Hudson is getting really good at this standing business. The other morning I got up and found him standing in his crib and Somer standing on the outside talking to him. Saturday he pulled up and stood by the bath tub while I was drying my hair and I don't know what happened, but I heard a big thump and he was in it. I don't know if he was trying to crawl in or if he was reaching and lost his balance. I do know however he had a goose egg and slightly bloody nose. I am really starting to think he is going to be our accident baby.

Number 8 and counting...

He's done it again. Michael got his 8th tatoo on Sunday, and this one takes the cake. He is very proud and so is Somer. He sent us picture messages of the outline and then when it was finished. First she said it was ucky, then she decided she liked it. She also informed us her pink elephant tatoo (from Valentine's Day) was gone and she needed another one, but she didn't like the black panther and flames the quarter machine spit out so I'll guess she'll have to wait. I think the birthday fairy might be bringing her some Dora tatoos she found online! Enjoy the pictures, Michael would be very happy to hear what you think.

Michael and the boys went 4-wheeler riding last weekend and took a camera to document their male bonding experience. I have to admit, looking at these does take me back to the days when we used to do this all the time. Aww...
