I Can't Believe She's Three

Today is Somer's 3rd birthday. Even though I cannot remember what life was like without her and Hudson, I can hardly believe it has already been three years. Here are a few pictures from her party Saturday night. She had a really great time so thanks to all who shared it with us. Tonight, at her request, we are eating at Subway and having happy birthday cake afterwards. This time she'll get to blow the candles since we forgot them at her party.

We pulled up the carpet in the living room to reveal this beautiful hardwood floor. I wish we would have done this when we moved in three years ago!

I Found One Mommy!

Somer had her first Easter Egg hunt this year. Mom hid eggs in her flower bed and Somer when wild! It was the best, she had so much fun.

This was also Hudson's first Easter. We went to chruch on Saturday night and slept in Sunday. After cleaning all day, we headed to my mom's for dinner.

The Big 5-0

I am so excited!!! Blogger has been blocked at school and now its not!!!

We had Tom's 50th birthday party this weekend and I think we really got him. I thought for sure we wouldn't be able to pull off the surprise but we did! I had a really good time visiting with everyone and was really happy with how everything turned out. I'll try to get some pictures posted this week.

More Room in the Closet

Michael starts a new job tomorrow. After almost eight years, he worked his last day at Midwest Tire & Auto on Thursday. He really enjoyed working there and says he will miss seeing all the people, but it's time to move on. He starts with Schwada Builders tomorrow morning. We are really looking forward to having him off by 3:30 everday and not working Saturdays, but Mommy is really not looking forward to the early mornings since I will have to get the kids ready and to daycare by myself now. I can't believe how spoiled I have gotten!

He and I are also very excited that with no uniforms, we have lots more room in our closet and no more tire grease and grit to clean from the sink and bathtub!

Preparing for Easter

Elliot and Drake came over on Sunday to color Easter Eggs. It was a first for all the boys as Somer was the only one who had done it before. I think the kids had a really good time and we all certainly enjoyed getting to do it outside in the warm weather!
